白河峽谷位于懷柔境內(nèi)，距離北京市區(qū)天安門105公里左右，白河峽谷是從延慶區(qū)東北舊縣境內(nèi)的白河堡水庫，經(jīng)過懷柔，流向密云水庫的河流大峽谷。峽谷的上半段是白河堡水庫到懷柔湯河口。白河堡水庫是第一處景點，之后是明代外長城的重要關口——小水口。
這是一處原始風貌保存相當完整的自然峽谷，與永定河官廳峽谷和拒馬河峽谷并稱“京都三大峽谷”，而白河峽谷因其壯麗的風景，更有“百里畫廊”的美譽。
交通信息
公交路線
北京東直門乘916路公共汽車，在懷柔汽車站下車，在換乘936或者去往湯河口方向的班車，到前安嶺二橋下車，打車到青石嶺村最南面水電站（因為那里村落稀少至今沒有公交車通行）。
由于家園乘坐936支線（懷柔—湯河口）前安嶺二橋下車，打車到青石嶺村最南面水電站京北一漂漂流接待站。
自駕游路線
由“京密路”或“京承高速”至懷柔“開放環(huán)島”，繼續(xù)向豐寧方向行駛；
沿“懷豐公路”(111國道)行駛約45公里到達“前安嶺二橋”，右轉8.5公里即到青石嶺村最南面水電站即到京北一漂碼頭。
京承高速15出口下-分水嶺隧道-琉璃廟-前安嶺二橋右轉-八寶堂-白河北–青石嶺村最南面—-京北一漂接待站。
